Beetroot they say is good for you, it has many benefits but as with all health foods balance is
essential so best not to overdo it.
Adding it to salads, with a drop of balsamic vinegar is my favourite way of eating it. Below you'll find two videos, one discussing the benefits the other discussing possible side effects. The videos do seem to be a little in conflict especially about kidney stones.
However, I do think in moderation, beetroot is a great food.
